The company was founded in June 1977 under the name of Computer House Ltd, then taken over by the Leal Group in 1986. In October 1991, the company turned into Leal Communications & Informatics Ltd.

LCI has developed its retail activities and opened many sales outlets in few years : with iShop ‘LCI Apple Shop’: at Caudan, Phoenix les Halles and Reunion Island and with eShop (representing many prestigious branded products : PC, Notebooks, peripherals, LCD widescreens and accessories). eShop opened at Caudan, Port Louis, Pailles, Phoenix, Curepipe and Rodrigues.

In 1999, LCI created its own computer brand ‘PCTech’ and today PCTech computers are best selling computers on the market (above 20,000 units sold). PCTech computers are locally assembled by a professional and certified technical team. In 2009, LCI extended its PCTech range and introduced innovative notebooks such as PCTech MSi Series.

LCI is committed to delivering solutions that meet customer requirements in terms of features, performance and product reliability. LCI received its ISO 9002 certification in October 2000 and then its ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2002. But the real success of the company lies in its major asset : the LCI Team.
